This project from Companhia de Dança de Almada, (Ca.DA), stems from an original idea by Luís Malachias and is based upon a creation by São Castro. Director Cristina Ferreira Gomes was invited following her exemplary work on contemporary dance and the affinity felt between creators and dancers.
Through the interdisciplinarity and complementarity of languages and methods, we’ve looked to create a new work focusing upon a topic of great depth, with the idea of raising awareness about environmental, social and cultural issues. Completely filmed in the forests of Pinhal de Leiria, it reflects on the importance of knowing how to deal with loss.
